About the firm

Two CPAs, One Household, and a Practice Built on Knowing the Whole Picture.

Genna and Hamilton Allman met in 2011 and merged their practices in 2015. What began as two individual careers — one rooted in accounting operations, the other in taxation for high-net-worth clients — became a single firm designed so that the day-to-day numbers and the strategic decisions are never handled by strangers to one another.

To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity. — Donald A. Adams

Genna Allman, CPA

Partner, Director of Accounting Services

Genna Allman is a founding partner of Allman & Allman, A Professional Accountancy Corporation, and Director of the Accounting and Business Management Division.

She discovered her passion for accounting while working for her family's company. As a young adult she worked alongside her father running the business, gaining first-hand experience in both operations and financial management.

In her early twenties she found public accounting and knew she had found her calling. Working within a small CPA firm gave her the opportunity to serve many diverse businesses and individuals.

When Genna started a family she chose to focus on accounting services alongside corporate and individual tax preparation and consulting. Being involved in her clients' day-to-day accounting gave her additional insight for strategic and tax planning throughout the year.

She graduated from National University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and obtained her license as a Certified Public Accountant in 2015, all while building her own practice.

Genna met her husband and business partner, Hamilton Allman, in 2011; they merged into one firm in 2015. She shares three children — Jaelyn, Christian and Theodore — enjoys time with family and friends, her dog Cody, and a good book. She serves as treasurer on the board of her HOA and donates her time to charitable organizations.

Behind every great business is a great accountant. — and — If you think it's expensive hiring a good accountant, try hiring a bad one.

Hamilton Allman, CPA

Partner, Director of Tax Services

Hamilton Allman is a Principal of Allman & Allman, A Professional Accountancy Corporation, and acts as Director of Taxation Services for the company.

He works with high-net-worth individuals, medical and legal professionals, business executives, real estate professionals and business owners — along with their trusts — to manage their financial affairs and optimize tax results.

That work is accomplished through participation in tax planning and compliance; tax representation and negotiation; consulting on business entity structure, operations, finance and insurance matters; accounting review; contract review; and estate planning in consultation with counsel.

On various occasions Hamilton has been able to save or help structure tax savings exceeding $1MM.

His professional experience began in financial consulting and analysis before moving into public accounting, where he worked for premier business management and CPA firms in the greater Los Angeles area. His clientele included many of the biggest names in entertainment, sports and business.

Hamilton is a CPA licensed in the State of California and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Chapman University in Orange, CA. He was raised in Rancho Palos Verdes and has the pleasure of working with his wife and partner, Genna Allman, while raising three children and one tiny dog.

What we hold to

Trust, Current Knowledge, Sound Practice, Ethics, Compassion.

Trust before technique

A financial relationship only works when the client can say the difficult thing first. Everything else follows from that.

Current information

Tax law and business conditions move. Advice given on last year's rules is not advice.

Sound business practice

Clean records, disciplined closes and defensible positions — the unglamorous work that protects a client under scrutiny.

A solid ethical platform

We tell clients what we believe to be true, including when it costs us the easier answer.

Compassion

Behind a return is a family, an illness, a partnership, a loss, a beginning. We work accordingly.

Connected judgment

Business, tax and personal consequences are weighed together, because our clients live them together.

The team

The People Who Do the Work.
